 |  | | The Vancouver Girls Soccer Club was formed in the spring of 2007 as an initiative to consolidate girls soccer in the Vancouver area. The new club boasts 16 teams this season at both the Silver and Gold level from U10 to U18. Players come from all areas of Vancouver - east and west. Season opens for Youth Divisional and Adult Teams |

September 13, 2009 - The VGSC's Youth Divisional and Adult teams start their adventure in their respective leagues for the 2009-10 season. The youth teams play in the BC Coastal Girls Soccer League (BCCGSL) while the women's teams play in the Metro Women's Soccer League (MWSL). Both programs will be playing in a season that continues for the next 7 months in Metro Vancouver.
This seasons 7 Youth Divisional teams are - 
- U13 Silver - VGSC Nova
- U14 Silver - VGSC Eclipse
- U14 Gold - VGSC 96 Breakers
- U15 Silver - VGSC Gunners
- U16 Silver - VGSC 94 Breakers
- U 16 Gold - VGSC Force
- U17 Silver - VGSC Tigers

This seasons 4 Adult teams are -
- Selects - VGSC Kerrisdale FC
- Division 1 - VGSC Sabres
- Division 3 - VGSC United
